TACA Peru is launching two new services from its Lima base to Peruvian provincial centres Chiclayo and Piura. At the same time it in increasing the number of weekly flights from Lima to Trujillo. TACA Peru will now operate a twice daily service to Piura and a single daily flight to Chiclayo from May 9. TACA will also add a second daily rotation on the Lima – Trujillo route with a new morning service in addition to its existing late night flight.
Piura is a city in northwestern Peru. One of the best known tourist attractions in Piura is La Esmeralda beach, known as Colan for it is located near the town of Colan. Colan beach is a very long beach with warm waters. Local people like to go there during holidays. There are also great spots for surfers, like Mancora Beach and Cabo Blanco.
