TACA is pleased to announce the continuing expansion of its domestic services within Peru. The new services commenced on 01st January 2012 with TACA now flying from the historic city of Cusco to the two popular tourist destinations of Puerto Maldonado (Madre de Dios) and Arequipa. `
The new flights from Cusco to Puerto Maldonado will operate daily with the service from Cusco to Arequipa flying three times a week on Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Both services will be flown using aircraft from TACA's Embraer 190 jet fleet.
"Adding Puerto Maldonado to the TACA route network not only supports the development of corporate travelers flow between the two destinations but also allow access to more domestic and foreign tourists, this city-Amazon who have to show ecological wonders such as the Manu National Park, Tambopata National Reserve, National Park Bahuaja Sonen, among others," said Nani Garrués, AviancaTaca Sales Director in South America.
