TACA Airlines are pleased to advise you that as a result of our alliance with Iberia, beginning December 1, 2006 you can travel to 105 new destinations in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
Now you can use your DISTANCIA miles to visit Istanbul, Cairo, Johannesburg, Paris, Madrid, Rome, and many other cities around the world.
Our new alliance allows you to earn and redeem DISTANCIA miles on all Iberia flights. Likewise, IBERIA PLUS customers can earn and redeem miles on all TACA, LACSA, and TACA Peru flights.
How to earn DISTANCIA miles with IBERIA PLUS
In order to earn miles on IB-operated flights, you should give your DISTANCIA number when making reservations. The miles earned will appear on your account statement one month following your trip. You can get free airline tickets, hotel stays, and rental cars with DISTANCIA miles.
How to redeem DISTANCIA miles for reward tickets on IBERIA PLUS flights
In order to get reward tickets on flights operated by IB, you must make your reservations by calling our TACA Call Center.
