Havana, capital of Cuba, is unique and full of character with some great architecture and sights for visitors. Habana Viaje is a good place to start exploring the colonial architecture in Havana. The Catedral de San Cristobal de la Habana in this area is magnificent and even at night when music is played in the plaza.
The Grand Theatre is an impressive building and still home to opera and ballet performances. Another impressive building is the Capitol Building which should not be missed near the Grand Theatre.
The Real Fabrica de Tabacos Partagas is an interesting tobacco factory that offers tours to explain the cigar making process.
Another interesting Museum is the Museo del Ron and includes a tour of the rum making antiquities and the brewing process. They occasionally have music events and you can enjoy a rum cocktail at the bar.

Jose Marti International Airport, previously called El Rancho Boyeros International Airport, is located 15 km southwest of Havana, Cuba, and is a hub for Cubana de Aviación, Aerogaviota and Aerocaribbean, and former Latin American hub for Aeroflot Soviet Airlines. The airport lies in the municipality of Boyeros and it is named in memory of patriot and poet José Martí.
